Surely we have more to gain by working together?

I have been a member of several networking groups for a while and yet there is still something missing as far as I can see. There are thousands of sales people in the UK selling all sorts of products and solutions to customers up and down the country, yet in all my 26 years in selling, I have rarely seen a "network" that works effectively for the passing of information and sharing of leads.
